Over the years, Mujur Minat Construction has evolved into a trusted infrastructure and earthworks specialist. Our capabilities are strengthened by engineering expertise and disciplined execution, delivering resilient solutions for long-term growth.
The company’s formative milestone came in 1998 with the award of a RM1.148 billion turnkey mandate for Packages A, B and C of the SPRINT Highway by Sistem Penyuraian Trafik KL Barat Sdn Bhd. Completion in 2001 established Mujur Minat Construction as a credible infrastructure partner, demonstrating disciplined execution and the capability to deliver complex, high-value highway works within schedule.
International expansion materialised through a RM561 million wastewater infrastructure project at Yen So Park, Hanoi. The scope covered process engineering, construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance. Delivered in 2011, the project strengthened the company’s technical depth in environmental systems and marked its entry into overseas markets.
Market reactivation followed the renewal of CIDB licences and the attainment of Sijil Taraf Bumiputra status. Major earthworks and infrastructure packages were secured within Gamuda Gardens, Gamuda Cove and KK257 under Gamuda Land, encompassing underground station works, transport infrastructure and township platforms. These engagements reinforced Mujur Minat’s presence across integrated large-scale developments in the Klang Valley.
Participation in MRT Line 2 expanded the company’s rail infrastructure credentials through finishing and access works commissioned by MRT Corp Sdn Bhd at Cyberjaya and UPM. The assignments included external works, access roads, bridge structures and utility integration, completed in 2022. Regulatory capability was further strengthened with certification from Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara, enhancing its standing in water and sewer infrastructure delivery.
A new benchmark in water transmission infrastructure was achieved with the award of a RM128 million Raw Water Pipeline contract at the Rasau Water Treatment Plant under Gamuda Berhad. The installation of a 2.4-metre diameter pipeline — the largest undertaken by the company — underscored its technical capacity in high-volume utility infrastructure.
Engagement within PKNS Cyber Valley progressed from IBS-related works to the award of an Elevated 1 Million Gallon Water Tank project valued at RM36.3 million. These projects broadened Mujur Minat’s capabilities across structural systems and essential water storage infrastructure.
A defining growth phase saw annual turnover reach RM500 million, supported by a fast-track RM127 million earthwork platform for a Google Data Centre in Springhill, infrastructure packages totaling RM223 million for the Penang LRT, and road upgrading works in Putra Heights. The portfolio reflected increasing involvement in high-value, time-critical developments nationwide.
Sustained collaboration with Gamuda Land culminated in the award of a RM69.7 million Earthworks Phase 16 contract within its township developments. With dedicated teams operating continuously since 2016, Mujur Minat demonstrates long-term operational continuity, deep site familiarity, and consistent delivery performance.
